Celestial Globe
Purpose
A transparent globe marked with constellations and stars (down to fifth magnitude) surrounds a small Earth, showing the geocentric perspective of the sky. Students see how observer latitude, time of day, and time of year determine which portion of the celestial sphere is visible.

The celestial globe with Earth at the center demonstrates the geocentric perspective of celestial coordinates, showing how observers see different portions of the sky based on their location and time.
