Autoparametric Resonance
Purpose
A spring-mass system spontaneously transfers energy between vertical bouncing and pendulum swinging modes through autoparametric resonance. Demonstrates parametric excitation, mode coupling, and the 2:1 frequency condition for energy transfer between degrees of freedom.
