The boards are designed to handle voltages up to 250V DC and 50V AC. When demonstrating with power supplies, ensure proper insulation of connection leads and keep students at safe distance. The 250V range presents shock hazards requiring careful handling.

Purpose

Students see the internal circuitry normally hidden inside analog multimeters. The demonstration boards show how series multiplier resistors, parallel shunt resistors, and bridge rectifiers adapt a single galvanometer movement to measure DC volts, AC volts, DC current, and resistance.
