Coils and Transformers
Purpose
A collection of small commercial inductors and transformers for show-and-tell. Includes anti-theft stickers, projector circuit board, toroidal cores at various winding stages, basket-weave coils, and transformers with adjustable cores. Use a document camera -- most pieces are very small.

Figure 2:
Power supply board from an LCD projector. Visible components include a high-frequency transformer (yellow tape), toroidal filter inductor, and high-voltage electrolytic capacitors.
Figure 3:
Anti-theft (EAS) stickers with planar spiral inductors forming LC resonant circuits. The peeled-open tag reveals the metallic coil pattern.
Figure 4:
Toroidal core winding progression: bare ferrite core, partial winding, and completed inductor. The toroidal geometry confines flux within the core.
Figure 5:
Toroidal transformers with multiple windings (indicated by different colored leads). Also shown: smaller copper-wound inductors on ferrite cores.
