Ear Model
Purpose
Anatomical model of the human ear with removable sections to show the mechanical chain from sound collection (outer ear) through impedance matching and amplification (middle ear) to frequency analysis (cochlea). Illustrates how acoustic waves are converted to neural signals through coupled mechanical systems.

The complete ear model with removable sections, showing the external auditory canal, tympanic membrane, ossicular chain (hammer, anvil, stirrup), and inner ear structures including the cochlea and semicircular canals.
Figure 2:
Detail of removable components showing the cochlear cross-section with vestibular duct, tympanic duct, cochlear duct, and spiral ganglia, along with the ossicular chain and semicircular canal system for balance.
