Poster templates

Three starting points, all CU Boulder Physics branded and all producing a 47.48″ × 35.61″ landscape PDF that fits the department's 36″ roll without scaling. Pick whichever matches the tools you already use.

What is in the download

Each bundle is a zip containing the template source, its README, and an assets/ folder with the CU and Physics logos plus example figures. The templates reference those assets by relative path, so keep the folder structure as it comes.

The two CU logos are alternatives, not a pair: use the university lockup or the Physics lockup, whichever suits your layout, rather than both. Logos for funders or collaborating institutions are separate and can sit alongside whichever you pick.

The LaTeX and MARP bundles also include a built poster.pdf, so you can see what the template produces before committing to a toolchain.

Before you submit

  1. Export your poster to PDF.
  2. Check the page size is 47.48″ × 35.61″.
  3. View it at 100% zoom. Anything that looks pixelated on screen at 100% will look worse on paper.

The LaTeX template builds on the Gemini beamer poster theme by Anish Athalye, used under the MIT License.
