Demo use only

Box of Graphite

A cylindrical magnet two inches long and less than a quarter inch in diameter. The ends are colored red for north and blue for south, and a thread is tied around the center.

Cylindrical Magnet on a String

A copper pipe five and a half feet long leans against the wall.

Eddy Current Tube (Long)

A compass needle six inches long with a central pivot mount. North is painted dark blue.

Large Compass Needle

A five-by-three inch black-painted horseshoe magnet. The poles are marked N and S.

Large Horseshoe Magnet

A thin steel plate 8 inches square holds several magnets of different types: a large and small horseshoe magnet, four bar magnets an inch long, a three-inch bar magnet, and a trio of three-inch series magnets in plastic cases.

Magnet Tray

The premalloy rod is about two and a half feet long and a third of an inch thick.

Permalloy Bar

Two 8-inch tall, 3-inch thick magnetic poles mounted on a strong iron base make up a powerful horseshoe magnet with 2 inches separation between the poles.

Radio Magnet (Large)

A near-circular horseshoe magnet about an inch across with a thin iron bad connecting its poles.

Small Horseshoe Magnet

A roughly cubic piece of lodestone about an inch across, with sight rusting.
